OUR PROCESS
Four Easy Stages to Buying and Building Your New Home.
Stage 1/4
Meet & Greet
You will meet with our team, who will help bring your dreams of a brand new BAWA Home to reality! We will help to personalise our designs to suit your needs and ideas. Standard quotes will take approximately 48 hours.
We send your requirements to our estimating team to ensure we can deliver you the best quality home for the best price possible.
If you feel confident we can provide you with the perfect home, we will take the initial payment to progress to the third-party testing stage.
Stage 2/4
Design Your Home
We conduct Soil, Wind Rating and Contour tests to ensure your home is safe and exceeds Australian building standards, which is excellent for home insurance! Plus Council and Certifier Pre-checks. After the site tests are complete, we can provide the completed quote.
Our professional drafters and engineers will put all of your ideas onto paper, preparing a full set of working drawings.
Things get exciting! You will meet with our talented Interior design team, who will help bring all your colour, texture, and design choices together. We have top-quality products to ensure your home is exactly as you had dreamed it would be.
We will meet with you in our offices to sign an HIA Construction Contract. Plans will be finalised and sent to the local authority for compliance and approval.
After reviewing your plans and documents, we will send your file to our certifiers to ensure they comply with Australian building standards, which can take up to 4-6 weeks. Please allow another week if covenant approval is required.
Stage 3/4
Building
Within seven days of council approval, we will be on-site! We will break ground and place your Certified Concrete slab.
We will install the top-quality bones of your home, a hand-built, treated timber frame that is incredibly strong and durable. Once the frame and roofing are installed, the electrical and plumbing contractors start running pipes and wires through the home.
Here your home will become secure with the installed roof, windows, cladding and external doors, providing an accurate exterior view of your new home.
We begin installing all your exciting choices from the colour selection phase; kitchen, bathrooms, tiling, paint and all the finishing touches.
Stage 4/4
Handover
We thoroughly clean your home to allow Independent inspectors to assess it with a fine tooth comb, ensuring you are delivered the best home possible. Your builder will walk you through your new home to acquaint you with its features and the operation of various systems and components.
